Here is my entry for the TerribleMinds 100 word flash fiction challenge. We were asked to write a 100 word story about revenge. It’s not an easy thing to do with just 100 words to play with but I tried.

Steve Figuroe had only a year left to rot away in the cubicle that contained his criminal existence. It was 2067, he had been held for twenty-five years.
C.O’s were adamant on ensuring it would be the worst year of his stay, but today they had gone too far. Steve was allergic to space-food; he now vomited horrifically from the Pluto-nectar which had been deliberately added to his porridge.
The C.O entered Steve’s cubicle and proceeded to beat him. That’s it, Steve would take no more. The bio-synthetic blade which he had kept secret impaled the C.O through his neck.
